Gretsch Country Club 6192 w/Case

G001Another exciting guitar for sale-A 1965 Gretsch Country Club model 6192. This model started in 1951 and is still on the list making it the longest existing model in the Gretsch electric guitar line-up. This Gretsch is 17" wide and 2 3/4" thick and is a full hollow body giving it that really big Gretsch sound. This is their largest electric model. With it's Grover tuning gears, Zero Fret, dual Filtertron pickups, Space Control bridge and "G" cut out tailpiece this guitar produces "Tone" to die for!! The beautiful sunburst finish and gold plexiglass pickguard make this Gretsch a real looker. Plugged in, these pickups sound amazing-the sound you expect to hear. There are no noises in the knobs, switches or input jack-a very quiet running electric guitar. Also, this guitar loves a bit of over-drive just to sweeten the deal. The ebony finger board and the frets are in great shape, showing very little wear. The neck is a bit wavey toward the upper frets and the neck has been reset at one point in it's life. But she plays great!! The bindings have crumbled a bit in 2 places but a good luthier can replace these 2 short pieces. A historical guitar at an affordable price.
