Epiphone Texan 6/12
This 1970 Epiphone Texan from Japan plays and sounds good. It used to be a 12 string but I converted it to a regular 6 string-too old for all that tension. I removed the extra tuning gears because they tend to rattle if left on. The guitar has very low action and plays very easily. The body is jumbo so it has that big sound. The adjustable bridge works fine so you can raise or lower the bridge as you see fit. The strings are brand new D'Addario Phospher Bronze. The neck is a bolt-on and they go loose after many years-I totally rebuilt this one and everything is nice and tight. Frets are good-great campfire guitar and it won't last long here.
